Message in a Teacup
June 13 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm AWST

A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees.” ~ Amelia Earhart
Join with other community members and create a beautiful teacup planter to help spread some kindness in your community.
Share a cup of tea and explore why and how we can all make a difference by spreading kindness.
You get all the tools to create the teacup planter gift, including a teacup, soil and plants and a range of messages to choose from (or create your own).
After the workshop creators deliver the teacup planter anonymously to a neighbour or leave randomly in the neighbourhood for others to find. Finders are encouraged to go to the website and leave a message for the maker and pass the kindness back. See some examples online!
Be part of the loop and spread some hope, kindness and inspiration in your neighbourhood!
Perth City Farm is an urban permaculture farm that aims to educate about sustainable living and help inspire kindness and connection to nature, to spirit and to each other. You may like to arrive early to spend some time in the farm before joining the workshop.
Parking is challenging around the farm on weekdays and it may be best to consider public transport. Perth City Farm is right next to Claisebrook train station and at the end of the Yellow CAT bus line. Otherwise, there is a paid parking carpark off Royal Street, just opposite the farm gate.
Please note that masks must be worn when indoors at Perth City Farm run events and education sessions, including this one, unless you have a valid exemption. The WA mask
mandate has ended, but case numbers are still high and we consider this measure a sensible way to keep our participants and staff safe. We know wearing masks can be annoying, but we also know that some in our community are more vulnerable to COVID-19, and the wearing of masks means everyone can participate in our events. Thank you very much for your understanding and ongoing support.
