Writers At The Farm
August 18 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am AWST
An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Thursday, repeating until June 23, 2023
Let’s get writing!
We’re a couple of local writers keen to share the beautiful space at Perth City Farm with some other wordsmiths! Join us for some quiet writing time, some prompts, some chats and maybe a sneaky coffee and wander through the Farm.
Suitable for writers of all kinds, at any stage of their writing journey. Bring your writing materials and your creative vibes.
Perth City Farm is a working not-for-profit permaculture farm. If you can, please make a donation of your choice at the start of the session to support the Farm’s work. There’s a cafe on site for you to buy a coffee or snack from or BYO. If you’d like to wander through the garden bring a hat and wear sunscreen. We often run the group outside in the shade – for COVID safety and because it’s lovely 🙂
If you’re isolating, please reach out so we can arrange an online way for you to participate with our in-person group in real time.
Be aware the parking around City Farm is limited, it would be worth considering public transport.
This is part of the Community Education Hub project, kindly supported by City of Perth and Lotterywest.
Please email Rachel to RSVP firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that masks must be worn when indoors at Perth City Farm run events and education sessions, including this one if it is held indoors, unless you have a valid exemption. We try to host this group outdoors when the weather is fine. The WA mask mandate has ended, but case numbers are still high and we consider this measure a sensible way to keep our participants and staff safe. We know wearing masks can be annoying, but we also know that some in our community are more vulnerable to COVID-19, and the wearing of masks means everyone can participate in our events. Thank you very much for your understanding and ongoing support.
