What we will do:

Throughout this workshop, we will learn and hear about the wonderful art of Indian Block printing onto fabric and practice and experiment with a blend of traditional and adapted contemporary techniques.

During this introductory workshop, you will create a Block print design onto a cotton panel which can be used for sewing projects or simply displayed as an artwork. Gentle, non-toxic, natural fabric paints are used in this workshop: please wear art clothing and/or an apron.

Leisa Antonio is the founder of Healing India Creative Arts.

She enjoys the challenge of applying sustainable principles across her work, combining new & re-purposed materials to create beautiful textile, glass, jewelry, home & gift wares.

Leisa has been developing & facilitating creative & educational workshops since the early 2000s, with a focus upon self care, creativity, life-skills & community.
