Candlelight Dinner Cooking Class
March 6, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm AWST
Join us for a unique Candlelight Dinner Class where cooking meets sustainability! In this hands-on experience, you’ll learn how to prepare a delicious, healthy meal using sustainable ingredients that are good for both you and the planet.
Your meal will be predominantly plant-based. Explore exciting carbohydrate alternatives beyond traditional rice and pasta and discover new vegetables or plant parts often overlooked and discarded. Under the guidance of your instructor, you will transform them into a flavourful, nourishing meal.
Each of Niko’s classes will feature new recipes to give you the opportunity for more learning. This class is suited best to people wanting to incorporate some sustainability and more plant-based recipes into their diet.
This is more than just a cooking class. After spending time in the kitchen, you will dine together under the trees – an opportunity to connect with like-minded people, share stories, and bond over the joy of food. Embrace new culinary skills, build lasting connections, and enjoy a dinner that’s as sustainable as it is satisfying.

Perth City Farm is a community urban farm that supports connected, sustainable communities. Established on a former industrial site in East Perth, this polluted site has been lovingly rehabilitated by volunteers to become a Western Australian icon for environmental sustainability and community engagement.
