Wednesday & Friday each week at Perth City Farm

Join our team of wonderful volunteers at Perth City Farm as they garden together. Learn lots about gardening including food growing, get some exercise and make friends. Most volunteers regularly attend on either a Wednesday or a Friday, it is not necessary to stay for the full session.

Before attending you must register as a volunteer and attend an induction session.

As a Perth City Farm volunteer, you’ll meet new people, learn great gardening skills and give back to the community. 

Our farm and garden volunteers:

• help prepare market garden & other beds under guidance from our Farm Manager
• keep records of plantings and soil amendments
• learn to identify a variety of seeds and plants grown in our market garden
• work collaboratively with other team members and volunteers.

To apply:

1. read the volunteer position description
2. complete a registration form
3. our Volunteer Coordinator will reply to your application and invite you to an induction session
4. you will complete the on-site induction session & start as a new volunteer.

You’ll be expected to demonstrate the values of respect, non-judgment, compassion & kindness in all interactions with volunteers, Perth City Farm staff, contractors and members of the public.
