Are you our next Perth City Farm team member?
We are looking for someone who can work 3 hours on either (or all 3 days) – Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7.30am – 10.30am (hours and days can be flexible).
Our Cleaner/s play an important role in the day-to-day functioning of Perth City Farm, working to keep our toilets, office and shared kitchen clean and coordinate our rubbish bins. The tasks required depend on the day of the week.
This job requires a person to be physically fit and have excellent core strength. You will be required to deal with people from all walks of life and will always be expected to demonstrate the values of respect, non-judgment, compassion and kindness in all interactions with volunteers, clients, visitors and staff of Perth City Farm.
Essential
- Experience cleaning public places, particularly bathrooms, kitchens and offices
- Reliable and timely
- Ability to prioritise and work efficiently and independently
- Good communication skills
- A ‘can-do,’ friendly and positive attitude
- Demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements in a cleaning or building maintenance setting
