Perth City Farm is a not-for-profit urban farm that harnesses the power of nature and community connection, bringing people together to learn about sustainable living. Our East Perth site is Perth’s original sustainability hub, but our work extends out through the city with education and events.
The role:
The Communications Coordinator brings Perth City Farm’s work to a wide audience, attracting new people to participate in our programs and support our enterprises. They coordinate our social media presence, keep our website up to date, design materials and pursue media opportunities.
Our small close-knit team is doing world-changing and interesting work, and the Communications Coordinator to exposes that good work to the world, amplifying its impact.
The requirements:
We’re looking for an experienced marketer capable of working efficiently to drive an increase in sales and support for our organisation. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and bring design and writing skills to share with our team. You’re also interested in sustainability and community and this inspires your engaging social media content.

This role is permanent part-time of 16 hours per week, but we’ll often offer you extra hours to help with special projects. It’s important you can work on a Saturday morning once per month to gather content at our farmers market.
